Exercise description

Starting position: assume a seated position on the machine, facing the lift. Back perpendicular to the floor. Legs slightly bent at the knees. Feet resting on the platforms/pods. A 'V' grip is installed on the lift. The neutral grip is the one with the thumbs pointing upwards. Keep your arms straight in front of you. Movement: Maintaining the correct position, take an inhalation, initiate the movement by pulling your shoulder blades down and into your spine, draw the handle towards your abdominal muscles. Make a maximum contraction of the back muscles, stop the movement for a fraction of a second, exhale. With a controlled movement, return to the starting position, sensing a strong stretch in your back muscles. Repeat the exercise a set number of times at an appropriate pace.
