Exercise description
Starting position: lie on a Roman bench, hips resting on the back of the bench so that you can perform a hip flexion. Position your body in a straight line, arms crossed over your chest or hands resting slightly behind your ears. Feet parallel not wider than the hips. Movement: hold the correct position, inhale and lower the body slowly so that the back is kept straight at all times, the only movement being at the hip joints. Then perform a smooth, controlled return of the body to the starting position combined with an exhalation at the end of the movement. Repeat the exercise a set number of times at an appropriate pace.
