Instruction Lat pulldown
Exercise description
Starting position: sit facing the lift. Lock your knees against the foam rollers. Grasp the bar with a shoulder-width grip. Arms straight up. Movement: inhale, lean slightly back, perform the bar pull movement and begin by lowering your shoulders as much as possible and pulling your shoulder blades together. The intention of the movement is to draw the elbows towards the hips. Continue pulling the bar until the bar is around your upper chest. Pause the movement for a second and then, with an exhale, calmly begin to lower the weight to the maximum stretch. Repeat the exercise a designated number of times at an appropriate pace.
