Exercise description

Starting position: Side lying position. Leg lies on leg, knees bent, extended forward. One hand rests under the head. The heels should be aligned with the torso. The miniband should be above the knees. Movement: Holding the starting position, take an inhalation, then lift the knee overcoming the resistance of the miniband so that the heels remain joined. At the highest point, hold the tension for a fraction of a second, exhale and then lower the leg as you inhale. Repeat the exercise a designated number of times at an appropriate pace.
