Instruction Rowing jacks on a flat bench
Exercise description
Starting position: 1) Lying down on a flat bench 2) Feet stand firmly on the floor 3) Chest pushed forward, shoulder blades pulled back, hands tight on the barbells Movement 1) Sit on a bench and place the barbells on your knees 2) Using your knees to help yourself, throw the barbells over your chest and lie down on the bench 3) Straighten your arms by lifting the barbells up, keep your elbows at a 45-60% angle to your body 3) Return to the starting position by lowering and flexing your arms Tips 1) Remember to position your shoulder blades correctly throughout the movement, do not push your shoulders upwards 2) Control the rate at which you lower the barbell. 4) Remember to position your elbows correctly in relation to your torso. 5) Stay focused.
