Exercise description

Starting position: 1) Assume a position on a Roman bench, place your feet on the platform and lock by resting the back of your foot on the handle. Movement 1) Tense your abdominal muscles and slowly lower your body towards the floor by bending at the hip 2) Return to starting position Tips 1) Maintain abdominal tension throughout the movement 2) The lumbar spine extensor should be in a constant straight position at all times 3) The movement is done by flexion and extension at the hip joint, not by bending the spine 4) Do not lift the body as high as possible, finish the movement when the back is in a natural upright position (avoid overstretching) 5) Control the slow rate of lowering the body 6) Try to tighten the gluteal muscles when the body is extended.
