Instruction Walking lunges
Exercise description
Starting position: Standing position, back straight. Chest pushed forward, shoulder blades pulled back, abdomen tight. Arms free or in front of chest. Movement: Maintain the correct starting position and natural curvature of the spine, inhale and then step forward with one leg so that the knee joint of the stepping leg is bent at approximately 90 degrees. Keep the back leg behind you, crossing over onto your toes as you step forward. Exhaling, stand up dynamically, moving the corner leg forward into the stepping leg position. Try to ensure that your knee does not cross the line of your toes in the stride position. Repeat the exercise a designated number of times at an appropriate pace.
