Instruction Lat pulldown close grip
Exercise description
Starting position: sit facing the lift. Lock your knees against the foam rollers. Grip the bar with an underhand grip at shoulder width. Arms straight up. Movement: inhale, lean slightly back, perform the bar pull movement and begin by lowering your shoulders as much as possible and pulling your shoulder blades together. The intention of the movement is to draw your elbows towards your hips. Continue the pull until the bar is near your upper chest. Pause the movement for a fraction of a second, then with an exhale calmly begin to lower the weight to the maximum stretch. Repeat the exercise a designated number of times at an appropriate pace.
