Exercise description

Starting position: feet positioned at hip width. The torso is parallel to the ground, back straight and tense. Hands freely lowered directly under the shoulders, thumbs pointing outwards. Legs slightly bent at the knees, chest pushed out, head is an extension of the spine Movement: In the starting position, inhale, join and lower the shoulder blades. Keeping your shoulder blades together, lift your arms out to the side. Hold the movement for a fraction of a second. Controlling the tension in your shoulder blades, slowly lower your arms back to the starting position as you exhale. Repeat the exercise a designated number of times at an appropriate pace.
